THE TOUR
At the scheduled time we will head towards the floating islands of the Uros, which are located 6 km from the port of Puno and at an altitude of 3,812 meters above sea level (30 minutes by motor boat); Its population is approximately 800 inhabitants. The Uros is an archipelago of more than 40 islands, each inhabited according to its size by 2,5,15 or 30 families, which float in Titicaca due to its soft texture, since they are built based on reeds, a product natural that the lake itself provides, the same ones that are used for the construction of its boats, fuel and food.
